BASIC LAWN TREATMENT PACKAGE

Our basic turf care program includes the following seven applications:

  • Round 1 – Jan 1 – Feb 15: Initial pre- and post-emergent application to establish a barrier against winter weeds.
  • Round 2 – Feb 15 – Apr 1: Second application to reinforce the barrier and eliminate existing broadleaf weeds.
  • Round 3 – Apr 1 – May 15: High nitrogen fertilizer to promote growth and post-emergent weed control for thatch-line weeds.
  • Round 4 – May 15 – Jul 1: Third pre-emergent to prevent summer weeds and treat grassy weeds.
  • Round 5 – Jul 1 – Aug 15: Second granular fertilizer for color and density, with retreatments for grassy and hard-to-kill weeds.
  • Round 6 – Aug 15 – Oct 15: First fall pre-emergent to prevent winter weeds like Poa Annua and Dandelion.
  • Round 7 – Oct 15 – Dec 1: Second fall pre-emergent and “Winterizer” to support root growth and prepare for dormancy.

Each step targets specific seasonal needs to maintain healthy turf and prevent weed infestations year-round.
